Field service software development for teams on the move
We build scheduling, technician, contract and billing software for companies that work at customers' sites, including PestOS, our own platform for pest control businesses.
ZedBlu delivers field service software development for pest control operators, HVAC and appliance repair firms, facility management companies, cleaning services, solar and security installers, and manufacturers with after-sales teams. If your revenue depends on technicians reaching the right site at the right time with the right parts, we build the software that coordinates it.
We know this work closely because we built PestOS, our own management platform for residential, commercial and industrial pest control companies. It covers the full cycle, from bookings and GPS-enabled technician apps to AMC renewals and multi-branch reporting.
The same building blocks power custom field service management software for other trades, including HVAC service software, facility maintenance tools and home services marketplaces. We adapt job types, checklists, pricing and contract rules to your business instead of asking your team to change how it works.
What slows teams down
Scheduling by phone and whiteboard
Jobs booked over calls and chat messages end up on whiteboards and in notebooks. Double bookings, missed slots and zigzag routes follow, and the office spends the day phoning technicians instead of serving customers.
No proof of work
Paper job sheets get lost, photos stay on personal phones and customer signatures are hard to find later. When a customer disputes a visit or a commercial client needs audit records, the evidence is incomplete.
Missed contract renewals
Annual maintenance contracts promise scheduled visits and renewals, yet tracking due dates in spreadsheets lets services slip and renewals lapse quietly. That recurring revenue is the easiest money to lose.
Stock and billing delays
Technicians carry parts and chemicals that rarely match the records, and invoices go out days after the job. Cash flow suffers, stock disappears unnoticed and tax-compliant invoicing becomes a month-end scramble.
Software that fits how you work
Job scheduling and dispatch
Job scheduling and dispatch software with a drag-and-drop board, skill and area-based assignment, recurring jobs and route-aware planning, so coordinators fill each day efficiently and reshuffle quickly when an emergency call comes in.
Technician mobile apps
Our technician app development delivers Android and iOS apps with the day's jobs, navigation, GPS check-in and check-out, digital checklists, before-and-after photos, customer e-signature and an offline mode for basements and remote sites.
AMC and contract management
AMC management software with contract records, visit frequencies, auto-generated service schedules, renewal reminders, renewal quotes and contract profitability, so recurring revenue is tracked rather than remembered.
Customer booking and alerts
Online booking pages, an AI agent that takes bookings and answers questions on WhatsApp, SMS confirmations, technician arrival alerts, a service report app for digital reports, and a customer portal with certificates and visit history.
Invoicing, payments and stock
GST and VAT invoices generated from completed jobs, online payment links, parts and chemical stock tracked by van, branch and warehouse, and reports comparing stock issued with stock actually used on jobs.
PestOS for pest control companies
Our ready-to-launch pest control software for residential, commercial and industrial operators, with multi-branch dashboards and a white-label app under your brand. Subscribe monthly, buy a license with source code, or extend it with custom features.

Field Services: FAQ
What is PestOS?
PestOS is ZedBlu's own pest control management platform for residential, commercial and industrial pest control companies. It handles bookings, a technician app with GPS, AMC contracts and renewals, service reports with photos and e-signature, chemical and stock tracking, GST and VAT invoices, WhatsApp and SMS alerts, and multi-branch dashboards. It can run as a white-label app under your company's brand. Book a free demo to see it in action.
How much does field service software development cost?
It depends on your trades, team size and integrations. A focused technician app with job lists, photos and signatures typically starts around $10,000, and a complete platform with scheduling, contracts, invoicing, stock and customer portals usually ranges from $15,000 to $80,000 or more. Starting from PestOS or our field service solution can lower the initial cost. We confirm a fixed price after a free consultation.
Does the technician app work without internet?
Yes. The app downloads each technician's jobs, customer details and checklists in advance, then records photos, readings, signatures and timestamps on the device. Everything syncs automatically when the connection returns, with clear rules for resolving conflicts. Work keeps moving in basements, plant rooms, warehouses and rural areas where coverage is weak.
Can we put our own brand on the apps?
Yes. Both PestOS and our field service platform can be published as white-label apps with your name, logo and colors on Google Play and the App Store. Customer messages, invoices and service reports carry your branding too. If you choose a one-time license, you also receive the source code so your own team can extend the product.
Can the software manage multiple branches or franchises?
Yes. Each branch can have its own technicians, stock, pricing and invoice series, while head office sees consolidated dashboards for jobs, revenue, renewals and technician productivity. Permissions control who sees which branch, and reports filter by city, team or service type. Adding a new branch is a configuration step, not a new installation.
